This was a custom built staircase that has always been carpeted. The client really didn’t want to cover this up with more carpet so we decided to repair the risers painting them white along with restoring the douglass fir pine treads. I then installed a new white oak stair nose and 3 1/4 white oak for the landing. We chose a hickory stain that complimented all of the different wood floor features in the home. All of the scotia molding ,the detailing up underneath the tread, as well as all base trim was also installed. Wood rules📏 Anthony Magaro a.k.a.
