Generally speaking, a square room utilizing 2 1/4 common #1 Red Oak, installed, sanded, finished is $18/square foot.

Mr. Sandman prices labor to install by board width, not square foot. A 4 1/4 inch board goes on twice as fast as a 2 1/4 inch board. This savings allows to budget for unique accents such as floor vents/accent strips/borders/medallions. Your imagination and budget are your limits!
